BURNING PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS: Burning season runs from Jan. 15 through May 1. Burning permits can be purchased from the North Brookfield Fire Department every Saturday beginning Jan. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at the firehouse. When people arrive at the firehouse, they should call 508-867-0210 and provide their information to the firefighter on shift, and they will bring a permit out to you. Burning permits are $20 and can be paid for with cash or check made out to the Town of North Brookfield.

NBFD Touch a Truck at Brookfield OrchardsSaturday 28, 2025 at 10am - 2pm We are sooo happy to announce that the North Brookfield Fire Dept. will be hosting another Touch A Truck Event for the whole family on Saturday June 28th from 10-2pm! NBFD has invited the following towns to join the fun! Spencer, Brookfield and The Department of Conservation & Recreation! We are also excited to announce that along with meeting and learning about the Fireman, equipment and vehicles that they use, we are also bringing back the DUNK TANK! Last year this was a huge hit and we were able to raise a few hundred dollars to donate to the North Brookfield Fireman's Relief Fund! This Year we are hoping to exceed last year's numbers! So bring $5 with you to donate or Dunk A Fireman! There will be tons to do with the kids and tons of safety information for the whole family. North Brookfield Savings Bank is helping us Sponsor this event and will be here for the duration of the event with a fun craft for the kids! |
