The North Brookfield Cultural Council (NBCC) is responsible for allocating state money for cultural events and meets several times annually to review and vote on grant proposals. All meetings are posted with the Town Clerk. These grants can include a variety of artistic projects and activities in North Brookfield, including exhibits, festivals, field trips, lectures, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, the library and other town venues. The Cultural Council prioritizes proposals with the greatest community impact.

Applicants must apply online at: https://massculturalcouncil.org/local-council/North-Brookfield/.  More information can be found at link above or send an email to: NorthBrookfieldCulturalCouncil@gmail.com

Local decision-making is an integral element of this system. Local Cultural Councils have the right and responsibility to award grants that address cultural needs specific to their communities.
