The North Brookfield Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time police officer position. Candidate Minimum Qualifications: U.S. citizen, high school diploma, at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and a valid Massachusetts License to Carry or the ability to obtain one. Applicants must also have graduated from the M.P.T.C. Full-Time Academy, currently attending the M.P.T.C. Full-Time Academy or attended the Bridge Academy with ability to be P.O.S.T. certified for a full-time police officer position. Successful candidates are subject to oral interviews, medical and psychological examinations; physical abilities test (PAT) and background investigation. The Town offers a competitive salary, plus shift differential, 13 Paid Holidays, College Education Incentive (Associates 10%, Bachelors 20% and Masters/JD 25%), competitive health insurance, Vision and Dental insurance, Military Veteran Incentive, Vacation, Sick and Personal time, Physical Fitness incentive, Longevity Bonuses and Uniform Allowance.
